I was planning to go to the Zuidelijk Festival in the Nederlands over the weekend, but took ill at the last minute. My film Fiego and the Magic Fish ended up winning the jury prize for Best Film. I’m very honored and sent in an acceptance speech complete with my alien abduction lamp in the background! Thank you to Meiro Stamm, Mike Mancuso and Daisy Murray for their amazing help on the film!
