Persistance, persistance

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming. More Odin progress.
Work Continues on Odin

As the seasons change, work continues slower than a tree grows on Odin and the Egg. The style I have adapted is extremely laborious, but satisfying. My composer Meiro Stamm is plowing ahead providing me with these awesom rough cues that keep my spirtis up!
I Believe this makes 10? Or 11?

Another award for Fiego. This one from the Healdsburg International short film Festival in California. Many thanks! What a great festival ride! These kind words from the festival make my masterclass even more important! “The film is a beautiful and powerful work that perfectly comments on these times of excess capitalism and greed. Part of my Harvest Haul

I know this isn’t as exciting to most people as a television show or getting into a new festival, but it’s exciting to me. My prized peppers and potato harvest. A few carrots survived the great massacre, we will see how they do. Still have corn and onions to harvest!
A Final Festival Acceptance for Fiego?

Just found out that Fiego got into the Sparks Animation Festival which starts September 18th in British Columbia, Canada. It’s a pretty great festival and Oscar qualifying. It’s still a rush to wake up to congratulatory emails when your film wins or gets into a festival. Keeps it fresh!
Glimpses of a Belgium Summer and Garden Update

But plenty of bell peppers, potatoes, zuchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, kale, leeks and lots of flowers! The right-hand photo is by my wife Aleide […]
Dragon Dance Around the Fire

More Odin progress. With all of the different levels I use in TV paint, sometimes a still frame can be random beauty. This scene with the camera shooting through the bonfire at Odin while the Holti Woodlings dance was achieved with various brushes and palette knife tools, and multiple layers of transparency. To get the […]
Garden Update

I know all of you are hanging on to news on how the garden is doing. Well, end of June now, rain has been a bit sparse. The potatoes and peppers are doing well. One type of carrots are doing well, the other is hanging on for dear life. ( They got mixed up with […]
